Hello all.
I am finished my 4 years of art university of which I do a course in Fine Art Media in 20 days. That's the deadline for my project to end. Most of you may know I am making a computer game art piece called Ruckenfigur. I have been making it for the past month now and have made leaps and bounds with sprinkles of set backs and hiccups. Its been a whirl and I have really enjoyed being my own solo game developer. It has thought me alot managing my work and time to create something that is interactive and fun to play. Something I will defiantly consider for a career in the close future.
The game is called Ruckefigur and inspired by Romanesque artist Caspar David Friedrich and his landscape paintings. Its an exploration game currently with little other interactive apart from teleporting from one landscape to the next. It is a art piece game that will be a continuous work in progress for me, to enable manipulation of objects and the beginnings of a plot that grips the player and hopefully cut-scenes.
The game has become expensive costing me around 300 euro or more for assets, time and music. I was thinking of doing a series of commissions for anyone interested to help make that back to fund more of the game. The type of commissions these might be I have not decided yet but If you are interested let me know and of course there will be beneficiary credits along with this at the close of the game.
That is all, wish me luck.
